Τhe General Manager of EDA THESS, Mr. Leonidas Bakouras and the Manager of the Corporate Affairs and Internal Audit, Mrs. Aikaterini Stachtari held a meeting with the Operations Coordinator of Regional Fire Brigade Headquarters of Central Macedonia, Major General, Mr. Marios Apostolidis.
Mr. Bakouras informed the Major General about the areas currently supplied with natural gas and the ones to be integrated to EDA THESS’ distribution network by the end of 2021.
One of the topics discussed during the meeting was the robust cooperation between the Gas Distribution Company and Thessaloniki’s Fire Brigade and the dissemination of knowledge regarding the safe operation of gas network infrastructure, the implementation of new technologies and the execution of joint preparedness drills.
EDA THESS supports the work of the Fire Brigade, acknowledging the needs that incurred throughout the country over the previous months and the climatic phenomena that call for increased preparedness.
