A meeting was held by the General Manager of EDA THESS, Mr. Leonidas Bakouras and the Manager of Corporate Affairs, Mrs. Aikaterini Stachtari with the Deputy Minister of the Interior for Macedonia – Thrace, Mr. Theodore Karaoglou.
During the meeting, the Deputy Minister had the opportunity to be informed about EDA THESS’ investment plan and the progress of the natural gas distribution network construction works in the areas of the License. At the same time, the General Manager updated Mr. Karaoglou on the program for the supply of new areas which are to be included in the network, during the period October – November 2019, in view of the upcoming winter. Mr. Bakouras added that the number of new connections recorded for 2019, is expected to exceed 25.000 in total.
Mr. Karaoglou was very interested in the development of EDA THESS’ works, while praised the excellent organizational structure, the consistency and the professionalism that distinguishes the Company throughout its course in the country’s energy market. He also expressed his satisfaction for the consumers’ strong interest and acknowledged the trust shown by the citizens towards the Company in both areas, Thessaloniki and Thessaly.
Upon completion of the meeting, the participants highlighted the prospects of the cooperation between the Company and the State, with a common reference point, to wit the development and prosperity of the region.
