A meeting was held in the Sykourio Municipal Community, between the General Manager of EDA THESS, Mr. Leonidas Bakouras and his executives with the Mayor of Tempi, Mr. George Manolis regarding the connection of Sykourio to the natural gas distribution network.
The General Manager informed that works are to be launched in April, while citizens who sign a connection contract will be able to benefit from the use of natural gas by October. Municipal buildings of the area that can be supplied are 8, providing thus the possibility to the Municipality of energy saving. According to Mr. Bakouras, investments that will be implemented by 2023 are expected to exceed € 1 million for network construction and new connections, in order to serve more and more consumers.
Mayor, Mr. Manolis, pointed out that the residents’ interest is quite impressive as they are expecting to join natural gas network for both economic and environmental reasons. He expressed his certainty that EDA THESS’ investment plan will be successfully implemented, and also receive positive response from all citizens.
