A visit of press representatives specialized in the energy sector was held on Monday 4/2/2019 at the Company's premises. During the meeting, the key operational figures of EDA THESS, issues related to the operation during the performance of its basic activity, as well as the main points of its investment plan, were presented.
The attendees showed particular interest for the distribution network Development Program in existing and new areas, as well, since investments in innovative technologies, on updated equipment and infrastructure are provided therein, always with a view of the safe and continuous network development. They also recognized the Company's model business operation and its immediate response to the changing demands of a regulated environment, clues that have made the company, a leader in the country's energy market.
Then, they visited the First Natural Gas Decompression Station, which was constructed by EDA THESS, in Lagadas, Thessaloniki. The guests were guided around the station and were informed on its effective and continuous operation. The natural gas decompression stations are the first integrated infrastructure, based on the innovative and pioneering for Greece CNG technology.
Concluding the meeting, the General Manager, Mr. Bakouras assured, to a question raised by journalists regarding the objectives set by the Company and its course for 2018, that EDA THESS has successfully fulfilled its entire business objectives relating to all its activities.
