A workshop to inform the Distribution Users, was held on the initiative of EDA THESS at its premises, aiming the two-way opinions’ exchange, in the context of improving the Company’s services to its End Customers.
The issues developed are the following:
EDA THESS’ Operational Independence,
The development of the natural gas market,
Distribution Users access to the Natural Gas Distribution Network and
Metering, Allocation and Billing.
The event took place in the presence of the General Manager, Mr. L. Bakouras and the issues were presented by the Manager of Corporate Affairs, Mrs. A. Stachtari, the Manager of Network Development & New Connections, Mr. M. Stergiopoulos, the Manager of Network Development & New Connections in Thessaly, Mrs. E. Kalogirou, the Manager of Network Access and ICT, Mr. P. Rizos and the Manager of Metering and Billing, Mrs. E. Zouglou.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the companies operating in the natural gas supply in the areas of the License:

Upon the presentation’s completion, an essential discussion followed, and proposals were submitted for the benefit of the final consumers. At the same time, issues that affect the efficient operation between the Natural Gas Distribution Company and the Distribution Users were highlighted, which were pointed out to the Authority by EDA THESS, from which they need to be regulated and resolved.
The meeting was completed in a constructive way, fulfilling its’ basic objective for the gas market optimization in the areas of the License, focusing on the equal treatment of the Distribution Users and End Customers.
